If you love chocolate, you’ll love this Chocolate-chocolate cake recipe. This recipe features layers of chocolate through and through. A great cake for any celebration.
What’s important to remember is that the Chocolate chips should be added towards the end of the mixing cycle but before the cake begins to bake in the machine. This will give you crunchier chocolate chips and a better burst of chocolate flavor.
Add ingredients according to your bread machines recommendations. If you have an add feature on your bread machine, put the chocolate chips in when your machine indicates.
I recommend a ‘light’ crust setting, to avoid the cake being too dry.
Serve warm with fresh berries (strawberries or raspberries are a great addition), or with a small scoop of ice cream.

This was very good and it kept my kitchen cool because the bread machine was used. One family member said it tasted like a brownie cake because of the texture. I did not have chocolate chips so I added and extra 1/4 cup of applesauce. When the add feature beeped I added 1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts. I frosted the cake with a cream cheese frosting that I whipped up. (I actually cut the cake across the middle to make two smaller cakes) I will definitely make this again. 7/09/17
